Mehry Mu's story began when Güneş Mutlu listened to what she learned during her master's degree in psychology and surrendered to her irresistible attraction to fashion. With the entrepreneurial spirit she inherited from her family, her first career step was to launch an online shopping website focused on fashion and decoration, and this process led her to realize that there was a lack of bags that appealed to her taste. Mutlu blended her poetic and elegant aesthetic sensibility with inspiration drawn from diverse interests spanning anthropology, literature, style icons, and travel culture, and the formula worked; Mehry Mu designs are now the focus of attention for international trendsetters like Jennifer Lawrence and Olivia Palermo, as well as iconic fashion destinations such as Net-à-Porter.com and Le Bon Marché Paris.
